Online
blackjack is one of the most
popular casino games online - this is probably down to the
fact that the odds in casino blackjack are generally better
than in other casino games.
The biggest mistake that is often
made is to assume the point of the game of Blackjack is
to get as close to 21 as possible and not take notice of
the dealers card. There is a basic blackjack strategy which,
if a more specific blackjack strategy is not used, should
ALWAYS be adhered to. This is detailed further down the
page.
In play, the blackjack dealer and
the blackjack player are dealt two cards each, both the
player's cards will be dealt face up and only the first
of the blackjack dealers card will show. All cards are worth
their face value with the exception of an Ace, which can
be a 1 or 11, Kings, Queens and Jacks are worth 10. The
blackjack player always has the option to stand or hit,
and in some instances will also have the option to double
their bet, if the card looks very promising, or split the
cards if they have two of a kind. The basic strategy chart
below will tell you exactly what you should do whatever
your and the blackjack dealer's hand is showing. Print it
out by right clicking and saving it to your desktop, then
open it in any art programme and print it out.

The blackjack codes are as follows:
H Red = Hit
D Blue = Double
S Yellow = Stand
P Green = Split
H/R Orange = Surrender if allowed, otherwise
hit
H/P Pink = Split if allowed to double after
a split, otherwise hit.
